I should start a tally of how many times i say the same thing at work in one day. It is like people get a book of things to say to the grocery store cashier. I dont even think I could tell you how many times i hear "oh dear, i forgot my green bags in my car, blah blah blah." My response is always the same, "oh its ok everyone does it, just try to remember next time." Then i put on this big cheesy smile for the person two rows over to see.

The worst part is when people try to tell me how to cook meat. Then I get to make it really awkward by telling them i dont even eat meat. Then i get to hear how much i am missing out on.

However, when it is said and done, I love working at the grocery store. There are a few really cool people that you get to meet and they make all the difference. That is for sure.

So the next time you go to the grocery store, be a little nicer, tell a funny story, just dont say those damn lines that you have been rehearsing on the way to the check out line. Trust me, it gets really old. Really fast.
