other than that, i got to see my family over the weekend and we had so much fun together. We hung out and floated the river, got in a few fights and yelled a lot. I am just loud in general and then my family has to deal with me. But it was good fun. Maybe pictures up soon if I can get all of these bags packed and moved to our new awesome place. I am out of this town after this move! love love to be gone. Thats for sure.

sundays suck

What a day this has been. My work is driving me crazy. I can honestly say I have one of the worst, easy jobs that you can get out of a place. If watching people eat samples like meals gets on your nerves then you have a tiny glimpse into my world for the past few weeks. It is making me want to sreem. Luckily I work with some really awesome people who have my back and are trying to help me out as much as they can. I will thank them all come tomorrow and this whole situation is fixed up. I got to see a guy drop his sample on the floor today and it was probably the funniest thing ever. (i am normally not that rude of a person but this guy was totally asking for it)

My lunch was really good though. I am totally in a sandwich craze right now. Everyday I have tofurkey and veganaise sancdwiches and it still hasnt got old. It is probably the high light of my day. I just sit and zone out and eat for like 12 minutes straight. I love it!

Today when I got home, Dot was waiting for me and she was being the sweetest thing ever. She even let me take some really neat pictures of us. Which i thank her for! Its kind of nice having a cat as a best friend. She loves me no matter what. I was so happy to see her that I even gave her wet food as a nice treat.

Books are still my life. I am thinking of ending this soon just so I can go read some more. One day I will have a library and be the happiest old lady in the whole wide world.

Well I better go for now. Dont forget to take it easy when you can and venting is sometimes ok. I know this might be boring for you all but i must say that I feel loads better.

new old shoes and new old glasses

I went home and visited my family not to long ago. While I was digging around in my closet, looking for old pictures of myself, I stumbled across my most favorite shoes from high school. (i have mentioned them before i do believe) So I packed them up and brought them back to Austin with me. They are some pretty rockin super skate high vans that I got when I was oh so cool. Now I am wearing them tonight for the first time in god knows how long. I must say I am pretty excited about the whole thing. I think they will go nice with a pair of cut offs and the tank top I pulled out of my suit case. Thats right, I still havent unpacked my bag. No point really. It will all get dirty again in a few days time.

On a sadder note. I broke my most favorite glasses in the whole wide world today. The screw just fell out. I dont know where it went or why it picked today to leave me. Luckily it was only a screw and I can replace it soon. I am now stuck with wearing my blue glasses every where. Now dont get me wrong, I love these too. Just not as much as my other ones. They just dont have the same feel or character about them. Oh well, Oh well, I will get over it soon.

Work was a joke today. I am glad to be off. I need to make my bed and make dinner. Vegan brats are on the menu if I am correct. Yum Yum!

I must say that I love love love summer fruit. I hate summer weather, but I love summer fruit. If only I could have winter weather and summer fruit all the time. I mean fresh summer fruit. YUM!!!!!

Jacob and I sometimes love eachother. Today is one of those days. We will probably get mad at eachother in about five minutes but thats cool.

I have to work this stupid fucking machine at work called Kim's Magic Pop. FUCK that shit and do not buy it. Ok, Ok, you can buy it if you want. But just dont tell me about it. Hopefully soon I wont have to do it anymore. The little kids watching me all day is starting to really get under my skin.

I ate Freebirds for dinner and had a lovely time. I ate so much that I almost had to unbutton my pants. Luckily I did not.

Dot was really loud last night. I could not do anything about it though. She is being oh so sweet right now though. I love you Dot cat the kitty.

these boots are made for walking

My birthday is coming up in October. I will be the big Two Two. I must admit I am a bit nervous about growing older. I mean twenty-two is still very young but it is not as young as I would like to be most of the time. Oh well, we can only push forward. And forward I will go...

Now for my birthday santa is supposed to bring me these rockin boots. They are all vegan and awesome! I am preparing myself to wear them everywhere I go. I just hope I actually get them. I have some really great stuff that they would look good with and I would probably feels super cool with them on.

We shall see...

this is how i am spending today

Hopefully it makes for a good one. I have already read Harry Potter but sometimes I like to feel like a kid again. The Sound and the Fury is taking a bit more time than I wanted it to, but maybe it will all work out in the end. I just wish I could commit to it a little more. As for The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, well I have only read two chapters and I dont ever want to put the book down. So I am going to go ahead and call today a good day.

Dot is sleeping on the bed as of now. She likes to get her belly scratched and then she stretches her paws as far as they will go. Oh dear, the love of animals. I am sure you understand.

I bought a Crass record about a week ago. Sadly my record player is without speakers for the moment. I dont know why I havent gone to the thrift store and just bought some, it would be very easy to do. But I find myself not liking to do things like that.

Well today everyone should take some time and enjoy a favorite object in the house. I might spend my time looking at my dunce hat paintings our my book shelf. It is just fun for me really.

time is flying, i am having fun

Dear everyone, life has been moving fast and it has been way too long. Sorry about that. Though, not too many people read this thing anyway. So we went to bonnaroo, correction, we drove the 15 hours in one night and were so tired that we were freaking out to bonnaroo! We pull up to bonnaroo just to wait 4 more hours for the line to die down. All in all it was good. I got to see Ani DiFranco, the closes thing I have to a hero, and she made me cry. I guess that is the joy of getting to hear your favorite song in the encore. We also enjoyed Public Enemy (probably the best show ever) and The Mars Volta. We ate loads of vegan food and on the way up there we got to stop at out favorite all vegan resteraunt, Spiral Diner (in ft.worth). If you ever get the chance you should check that place out.

Dot is turning into a big kitty now. She is a little over a year old and acting as if she owns the apt. I am not going to lie, I kind of love it. The only part that is not so fun is when she keeps me all night doing the dishes and chin-ups on the blinds. Well we are working on those two.

I got to spend some time in Corpus Cristi and see my brother graduate from college. It was lovely. Before we left I got to see some lovely cranes. This one was my favorite. Hopefully you can see why. One day I will be a bird.

Life is crazy but keeps you busy. Look into the art of Tarot. It keeps the mind thinking. Love your animals and stop eating them. Try to laugh everyday. Sadly i believe I will be checking out one more time. But i will leave you with this...
